Geta Mirochnik, 84, of Lyndhurst is a 1979 emigrant from Kiev, Ukraine. The daughter of a WWII veteran and related to dozens killed during the Holocaust, she came to the safety of America and was a French teacher and Jewish Community Center employee for many years. Part of a series of interviews documenting the unique immigrant experience of Soviet Jews in northeast Ohio and exploring issues of professional, family, and religious life.
