Margarita Shuster, 65, of Woodmere is a 1990 emigrant from Kiev, Ukraine. Reluctant to leave her beloved Kiev, she came with her family to the United States during Perestroika. Here, she has been able to find her identity, and is now quick to call herself an American and a proud Jew. Part of a series of interviews documenting the unique immigrant experience of Soviet Jews in northeast Ohio and explore issues of professional, family, and religious life.
