Tamara Mayskaja, 89, of Cleveland was an emigrant from St. Petersburg, Russia. She worked as a Russian language professor at Kent State University after having escaped anti-Semitism in the Soviet Union. She died in February 2016. Part of a series of interviews documenting the unique immigrant experience of Soviet Jews in northeast Ohio and explore issues of professional, family, and religious life.
