text
Diaries
Isaac Lowe, father of Joseph Lowe, documented his family's destruction in concentration camps on his passport before his death. He wrote in it in June 1943. He gave it for safekeeping to a camp guard, who was an acquaintance from his home village. In 1957, Joseph received his father's Soviet passport from Zdzislaw Sulak, the camp guard and former classmate from Sambor. Joseph Lowe's immediate family members were killed by the Germans in the killing center of Belzec and the village of Radlowice (Ralivka) in 1943.
